From indie rock to emo-core, Best Friends Forever Festival is coming back for another year of fan favorites. Taking place on Friday, October 10th - Sunday, October 12th, the festival is a sure promise to having a thrilling weekend. The lineup is packed with current musical icons while also allowing ears to fill with nostalgia. There’s no better place to seep into both vibes than the euphoric nature of glistening Las Vegas, Nevada. That’s right, the festival takes place at the Downtown Las Vegas Event Center. The location is enough to already be stamped with the certification to be an incredible time.
Location sealed. What’s next? The music, of course! Best Friends Forever Festival’s lineup is once again riveting for the second year in a row. Loaded with memories of iPod uploads and the opening of a CD case, headliners such as Jimmy Eat World, Jawbreaker, and Minus the Bear will do justice to spark that nostalgic flare. The festival's noted ‘very special guest’ didn’t go without an abundance of excitement. After announcing their reunion tour, the indie rock band Rilo Kiley (a personal highlight) will be joining as well. All a heavy dose of indie-rock bliss.
With headliners swinging with big hitters, the festival is still jam-packed with acts you don’t want to miss! Cursive, Pretty Girls Make Graves (named directly after The Smiths’ song), Tigers Jaw, and Superchunk are also taking the stage. All stylistically post-emo and punk defining. The lineup continues to define iconography in acts. Listed are — Hey Mercedes, These Arms Are Snakes, and Pity Sex.
The festival celebrates deeply adored artists along with independents. People from all over have been in attendance for the last two years, and it’s no wonder why this festival is so dearly beloved. It’s nothing short of the perfect setting to attend with others or solo. The festival provides space for people to come together in pure celebration of the music that they adore.
