Martin Garrix took over The Armory for two completely sold-out nights on his Americas Tour, delivering one of the most explosive electronic performances Minneapolis has seen in recent memory.

Before Garrix even stepped on stage, the atmosphere inside The Armory already felt electric. Fans packed the venue shoulder-to-shoulder as anticipation continued to build throughout the night. The second the lights finally dropped, the bass immediately rattled the floor as thousands of fans erupted while Martin Garrix appeared beneath his iconic “+” cross-stage setup, surrounded by visuals that instantly set the tone for the rest of the night.

From start to finish, the production was on another level.

The production inside The Armory was absolutely out of this world. Lasers flooded the entire venue while massive bursts of pyro erupted across the stage throughout the night, making every major drop feel even bigger. Combined with the energy of the sold-out crowd, the Armory floor was genuinely shaking for most of the night.

And somehow, the intensity never slowed down.

For over two straight hours, Garrix controlled the room effortlessly, moving through one massive track after another without ever losing momentum. The crowd stayed fully engaged the entire night, screaming every lyric, jumping through every drop, and reacting to every surprise moment as if the show had just started.

That’s what separates Martin Garrix from so many other artists in electronic music. Beyond the insane visuals and massive production, there’s still a real emotional connection throughout his sets. His music has a way of making an arena-sized show feel personal while still feeling absolutely massive at the same time.

The biggest moments of the night came when Garrix leaned into the classics that helped define an entire generation of dance music fans. The second “Animals” started building, the crowd inside The Armory completely exploded. “Tremor” turned the floor into complete chaos, while “High On Life” created one of the most emotional moments of the night as thousands of fans sang every word back to him with phones and lights filling the entire venue.

What made the set even more impressive was how balanced everything felt. Garrix blended festival anthems, emotional singalong moments, heavy drops, and newer edits together perfectly without ever letting the energy dip. Even after playing for well over two hours, the crowd still wanted more.

The Armory continues to prove why it has become one of the premier live music venues in the country, and this weekend was another perfect example of that. Between the towering stage

production, immersive lighting, and relentless crowd energy, the venue felt built for a show of this scale.

By the end of the night, sweat covered the floors, voices were completely gone, and fans still stood screaming for one more song long after the final track ended. Martin Garrix didn’t just stop in Minneapolis on tour; he completely took over the city for two nights.

If there was any question about why Martin Garrix continues to headline some of the biggest stages in the world, The Armory answered it loud and clear.
