Calgary, the gem of Western Alberta, isn’t known as much for its music festivals as it is for its Calgary Stampede, but it’s a city rising in pop culture, such as in film and music. Since 2012, the Chasing Summer Festival has had some of the biggest names in EDM, Zedd, Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, and Tiesto headline the festival, which lays it all down on the Max Bell grounds. Curated by LiveNation, and Canadian-based entertainment company, Blueprint, Chasing Summer Festival is ready for another big year on August 3-4, 2024. If you ask any person in Western Canada and Southern Alberta what their favourite festival is, this one is sure to be at the top of the list.
